Here's what Malala Yousufzai has to say on marriage

In an interview with the British Vague, Malala spoke on different topics, her interests, wearing a headscarf and marriage.

When asked about marrying, Malala came up with somewhat shocking remarks about marriage, questioning the logic of "signing marriage papers". she said " I still don't understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why cant it be a partnership?"

Her remarks have sparked a debate on social media, inviting criticism from some and support from others.

She also said that the dupatta she wears, is more than just a religious symbol for her. She said its representative of her Pashtoon culture and the place she belongs to.
